Afterlife:
The Game

Afterlife: The Game strings together fast micro-challenges where you drift as a newly minted ghost, completing odd jobs before you can rest. Each scene has its own rule set—guiding with the mouse, clicking to interact, sometimes using a key or two—and instant retries keep the pace snappy. Fail a task and you get a quirky outcome; succeed and the next vignette appears right away.

Ghost tricks for cleaner clears

Read the cue card. Each vignette starts with a one-line instruction; controls can switch from pure mouse movement to click-and-hold or a single key. Stay near center. For dodge scenes, keeping the cursor mid-screen buys space to react to birds, beams, and sudden spawns. Feather the mouse. Small, steady arcs beat big swings; quick zigzags only when a hazard spawns on top of you. Prioritize survival over extras. Coins or side targets aren’t worth a reset—secure the main objective first, then collect if time allows. Lead moving targets. When a scene needs precise clicks, aim slightly ahead of motion so the hit lands as objects cross your cursor. Use edges on purpose. Skimming along borders can funnel projectiles; just avoid getting pinned in corners.
