Why we use data — legal grounds

stable, prevent abuse.
b) Security (Art. 6(1)(f)) — rate-limit abuse, detect bots, protect
infrastructure.
c) Quality metrics (Art. 6(1)(f)) — aggregate analytics to improve speed and
readability.
d) Optional features (Art. 6(1)(a)) — extras that require your consent; you can change it
anytime.
Sharing & keeping data — our rules
a) No selling.
b) Processors under contract (hosting/CDN/error
logging): get only what’s required to do their job.
c) Third-party games: your browser shares technical
basics with those servers so the game can load.
d) Retention windows: diagnostics ≤ 12 months; security
logs ≤ 24 months; preferences stay on your device until cleared.

a) Defaults work without tracking beyond what’s necessary.
